The Opportunity for huge Alaska-Yukon Moose is available after our sheep hunts or as a combination hunt. We have consistently had 100% success on our horseback hunts with both bow and rifle. Each season we expand our knowledge and the areas we hunt. Our Grizzly population is among the highest in the Yukon and Grizzlies live throughout the area. Our Mountain Caribou are a local herd and live throughout the area in the summer and gather together in groups to rut late in the fall. Black Bear hunting is excellent on spring hunts however Black Bears are rare during the fall season. Wolves are available and are an awesome trophy during the fall season.

We also offer float hunts for moose and caribou. We have boats on many lakes which all have great fishing for Grayling, Northern Pike and huge Lake Trout.

I was born in Northern British Columbia and grew up hunting and guiding in the rugged mountains of the north. I currently live locally just outside of Whitehorse with my wife, Jodi, and daughter, Lukiah. Prior to becoming a full-time outfitter, I pursued my passion by working for some of the top outfitters in the Yukon, NWT, and BC. During that time, I also completed my commercial pilot license in the Yukon, and worked as a taxidermist and farrier. As a fanatical mountain hunter myself, I know you've put your time, savings, and most importantly your dreams into the hands of Yukon Stone Outfitters.
